Privacy Policy

What we collect
If you join the first-release list, we collect the email address you submit. The contact form prepares a draft in your email app; we receive that information only if you choose to send the email. Checkout is not currently open, so this site does not collect shipping addresses, payment details, or orders.
How we use it
We use submitted email addresses to send requested launch updates and still reminders. Messages you send are used to answer your enquiry. We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process the limited information needed to host the site and deliver email.
Email preferences
Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe option. You can also contact us to ask that your address be removed.
Journal privacy and local storage
Journal responses and preferences are stored in your browser's local storage on the device you use. They are not posted to our server. The optional passcode is a local privacy screen, not encryption. Clearing browser data can remove saved writing, so export anything you want to keep.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@thestillchaos.com. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and note the new effective date below. Material changes will be announced by email to subscribers.
