Rest is not a reward
There's a quiet rule many women live by without ever agreeing to it: rest must be earned. Finish the laundry, answer the messages, prep tomorrow — then, maybe, sit down.
But the list is designed to never end. It refills itself by morning. If rest only comes after the list, rest never comes.
Rest is not a reward for productivity. It's a requirement for being a person. Sit down before it's done. Especially before it's done.
