Rest is not a reward
There's a quiet rule many people live by without ever agreeing to it: rest must be earned. Finish the laundry, answer the messages, prep tomorrow, then, maybe, sit down.
But the list is designed to never end. It refills itself by morning. If rest only comes after the list, rest never comes.
Rest is not a reward for productivity. It's a requirement for being a person. Sit down before it's done. Especially before it's done.
